Clinic physician treating patientThe Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic at the UCSF Mount Zion campus provides specialty consultations for patients with illnesses, exposures, or health concerns related to their workplace, community, or home.

The clinic serves as a training site for OEM Residents and for Occupational Health Nursing and Industrial Hygiene students, for in-depth evaluations of exposure and disease. In addition to direct examination, the multidisciplinary clinic evaluation can include a review of the scientific literature, investigation of records, laboratory testing, and site visits to fully evaluate patients’ health issues.
